Viognier
Wine
Yeringberg Viognier is drawn from the winery's estate vineyard at Coldstream in the Yarra Valley. The cool climate and silty clay soils with scattered buckshot gravel provide an ideal environment.
From France's northern Rhône, Viognier is an opulent contrast to its more restrained cousins Marsanne and Roussanne. The destemmed fruit is crushed and wild yeast fermented. It matures for nine months with no malolactic fermentation.
Golden straw, Yeringberg Viognier has luscious ripe fruit flavours. It is gently viscous, yet cool, dry and refreshing. A balance of power, depth and finesse. Enjoy chilled. Drink young.
